EYELASH EXTENSION AFTERCARE

FIRST 24 HOURS

  • Do not get lashes wet

  • No steam (including shower/cooking steam, hot tubs & jacuzzis), extreme heat/saunas or excessive  sweating

  • No eye makeup, eye creams or growth serums

  • No UV or spray tanning (unless covering the eyes)

THEREAFTER

  • Use only oil-free products in the orbital area

  • We DO NOT recommend the use of mascara with eyelash extensions. However, if you need to wear it for a special occasion, apply a light application on the upper half of lashes only. Mascara may still be worn on the bottom lashes but should still be oil-free

  • Do not use an eyelash curler on your extensions

  • Do not perm or tint eyelash extensions

  • Do not wear strip or cluster lashes over your eyelash extensions

  • Do not touch/pull your lashes or rub your eyes aggressively

  • Avoid sleeping on your lashes

  • Do not try to remove your extensions at home. If you no longer want the extensions, schedule a lash removal. If an extension becomes loose or dislodged and begins to twist, give us a call and we will remove it for free!

*We know you will LOVE your new lashes! Owning a new set of lashes may take some adjustments, but with a little practice, you willbe a lash pro in no time. If you have any questions or concerns, please call or email us. We are here to help!

CLEANSING
We recommend cleansing your lashes every night with an oil-free cleanser even if you do not wear eye makeup. This is to prevent the build up of dirt, oil, dry skin and protein that can lead to eye infections such as blepharitis.

Do not be afraid to cleanse your lashes or eye area, just take special care when doing so. Do not scrub your eyes. Instead, use a sponge tipped applicator and lint frees sponges to gently cleanse. Do not use cotton balls or cotton swabs as the fibers will get stuck to your lashes. Dry lashes with a fan and groom with an eyelash brush. We carry all Xtreme Lash products needed to maintain the health and longevity of your extensions.
